This weekend we had five photographers from Derry on a photo tour/course in Dunfanaghy, Donegal. Our tours focus on taking participants to the best locations for landscape, seascape and local culture (if requested). The course started on Friday with a sunset at Falcarragh at the edge of the River Ray. On Saturday, in good Donegal weather, we went to the sea arch at Crohy and onwards to the Bloody foreland and Magheroarty. On Sunday we went to the now, photographically iconic, Murderhole beach, also known as Boyeeghter bay.
We strive to give guidance to those who need it. The course focused on familiarity with aperture, focal length, metering, exposure time, ISO, exposure valuation adjustments and more. During inclement weather we have sessions on editing in Lightroom and Nik software.
If you want to do a tour along Donegal’s Wild Atlantic Way and beyond, get in touch. We offer tours to small groups and bespoke individual tours.
