Ethiopia – Landlocked, 100 million inhabitants, one of the World least developed countries and so under visited in relation to what there is to see. Desert, mountains, indigenous minorities, volcanoes, national parks. Ethiopia has an unfortunate image elsewhere in the World. One of poverty, famine and despair. This is not the case – it is a country of great contrasts and one which leaves the photographer with little choice but to come back.
