Today will be spent mainly on the Breara Peninsula. Firstly we will have our usual early morning start for sunrise with a 30-minute drive back up to Gougane Barra. If you thought sunset was peaceful wait until you are standing there at 6 am on a calm morning. The peacefulness and scenery will envelop you and your thoughts. It will be a minute or two before you clear your senses and concentrate on the photography.

Our first stop after breakfast is only a few minutes down the road where we will visit a little-known waterfall on the edge of Bantry itself. One reason to do a recce is to tap into local knowledge and this waterfall was found as a chance encounter with some locals on our trip.
